Remedial, Relaxation & Pregnancy Massage
A spinal injury at age 20 left me with the odd sensation that my body was a stranger, and that I had, up to that point, taken health and wellness for granted. This realisation, along with a frustrating period of multiple misdiagnoses and poor care within the medical world, triggered a complete life shift.
My journey towards healing the physical form, lead to an ever-deepening curiosity about the innate interconnectedness of body, heart, mind, spirit and a hunger to learn more, not only to help myself, but also to help others.
After an initial qualification in Remedial Massage in 2002, I can honestly say my learning continues to this day. I have worked in massage clinics and health spas in varied locations, learning many modalities, techniques and most importantly, refining my intuition along the way.
One of the more powerful discoveries for me was the Hawaiian lineage of massage. The teachings of Lomi Lomi and KaHuna Body Work continue to inspire and are at the root of my signature flowing style.
That said, seven years ago I became a mother, which has been the single most profound and world shifting education of my life. A true initiation. And now, as I step back into the realm of massage therapy and body work after time with my young ones, I feel my skills have deepened and matured.
Grounded in presence, intention, deep listening and heart connection, I hold each client with reverence and aim to create space to access the Sacred.
