Tim Smallwood is a nationally qualified Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. With Over 25 years intensive experience running clinics throughout Australia, Tim combines the use of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese herbal medicine to treat chronic and acute medical conditions.

After completing two degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tim has worked and studied around the world providing health care to everyone from elite athletes to working in the hospital system of China. Tim has been involved in clinics from New York and the Rocky Mountains of the USA, to regional and remote areas of Australia.

From 2002 through till 2014, Tim established the Barefoot Doctor Chinese Medicine Clinic followed by the Three Treasures Chinese Medicine Clinic, located on the Sunshine Coast in Qld Australia. It was during this period that the mobile clinic was developed and offered as a health alternative to remote and regional communities throughout Australia.

Since 2014, Tim has provided a combination of mobile clinics in remote areas of the Australian outback with a number of clinics throughout Tasmania. The desire to give remote and regional areas access to world class services has been a key focus.

From 2018 till 2022, Tim has combined the remote clinic with SETAC (South East Tasmanian Aboriginal corporation)  and Cygnet Family Practice' as a focus for providing effective health care to regional communities with a focus on providing a complimentary and integrative approach to Health and Wellbeing.
